Abla is a pole dancer born in Aachen with a Turkish and German background. After getting introduced to pole dance by her best friend, she was immediately hooked and soon began home- training due to the pandemic. She has no previous dance background but has been consistently training pole dance, spin and static, for almost 4 years. A little over a year ago, she also began her journey as a pole and movement facilitator, teaching at the very studio she started at, and recently also at a new studio in Maastricht. What makes this her favorite activity is the incomparable feeling of flow-state and the abilities of the human body. Dance constantly offers new challenges, discoveries, and emotions and is the best way for her to connect to herself and to
music.
She has experience performing on smaller stages from Aachen to Los Angeles and New York, and also a big stage concert in Amsterdam, for Snoop Dogg. This is just the beginning and she is ready for what’s to come.
