İÇ İÇE means “intertwined” or “interwoven” in Turkish. Following its annual Berlin summer edition, the festival for new Anatolian music is coming to Cologne in October, where it will find a home for the weekend in the renowned Kulturbunker.
On October 12, we invite you to Mülheim to celebrate Anatolian music culture in a spirit of solidarity. Music, performances, workshops and readings will create an exuberant atmosphere in the Kulturbunker.
As a festival, we are also a platform for exchange for our visitors. Far from the expectations of the dominant society, communities of the diaspora come together to visualize and talk about life in the post-migrant society, multiple affiliations and the culture of remembrance.
