Miriam Davoudvandi aka Cashmiri is a freelance journalist and editor-in-chief of splash! Mag, a Berlin hip hop magazine. While she writes about music during the day, she puts her knowledge to the test with her sets at night.
She affectionately calls her genre “ambient twerk”, a combination of rap, R&B, baile funk, dancehall and Jersey club. As a child of the Romanian and Iranian diaspora, she incorporates local influences into her performances.
