Junge Arbeiter

EVENTS: Berlin 2026

When you talk to MOHUNNID-ALI (Muhammed-Ali Akyüz), CHAWE (Theo Chawenetidis), and MARCIRATI (Marcel-Denis Çiğ), one thing quickly becomes clear: the three of them are bursting with creativity, drive, and initiative. Together, they form JUNGE ARBEITER—a new voice for young people with immigrant backgrounds, for whom solidarity and brotherhood are top priorities. “We are one,” they say, and they mean it. As third-generation children of guest workers, with roots in Turkey, Greece, and Kurdistan, true brotherhood for them means not only having fun together but also getting through tough times. And that’s exactly what the three of them want to express in their music. Inspired by a UK sound à la JME, Nines, and Mall Grab, as well as French and Turkish rap, they’ve been constantly searching for new ways to expand their flow since their early beginnings. Classic US R&B and rap like Lauryn Hill, the Fugees, and 2Pac meet Japanese influences such as the legendary producer Nujabes, whose beats they often incorporate as samples into their tracks.
